The 2020 season didn't have much of a sense of normalcy, but the offseason has operated (relatively) similar to what we've seen in the past, and Monday brought us the finalists for each league for the major awards.
With all due respect to the Cy Young Award -- more on that one in a second -- the granddaddy of them all is the Most Valuable Player award, and we have six excellent candidates for that one. The American League finalists are DJ LeMahieu, Jose Ramirez and Jose Abreu; while the National League sees Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman and Manny Machado as the final three.
