The Braves declined their team option on right-hander R.A. Dickey's contract for the 2018 season, the club announced Monday afternoon. Atlanta also announced it exercised the '18 team option on the contract of catcher Tyler Flowers.
Signed to the club last offseason, Dickey went 10-10 with a 4.26 ERA in 31 starts for Atlanta in 2017. The 42-year-old made at least 30 starts for the sixth time in the past seven seasons and is 120-118 with a 4.04 ERA throughout his 15-year Major League career.

Do you think this MLB investigation and its effects will affect the way the Braves go about the business of trades/free-agent signings this offseason?
