The Atlanta Braves 2021 World Series trophy tour will come to Asheville on Sept. 2.
The event, which offers fans a chance to take photographs with the trophy, will be held downtown at Harrah's Cherokee Center from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. No ticket is required.
By the end of the summer, the trophy will have made a total of 151 stops across Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi. n
It will be the trophy's second stop in WNC. The tour previously came to Cherokee in March for an all-day event hosted in conjunction with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.
