Atlanta Braves TV announcer Brandon Gaudin reflects on return to Evansville, state of MLB

EVANSVILLE — There was one place Brandon Gaudin wanted to stop by in his return to Evansville.

It was Harrison High School's baseball field, the same place where he got his start behind a microphone. Gaudin, who graduated from the school in 2002, persuaded his chemistry teacher, Neil Rapp, to broadcast games on 90.7-FM. As he enters his third year as the Atlanta Braves' play-by-play announcer for FanDuel Sports Network South, Gaudin's love for sports reminds him of the profession he chose.

He returned to Southwestern Indiana for the Night of Memories, which took place last weekend inside the University of Evansville's Carson Center.
