The Atlanta Braves traded relief pitcher David Hernandez to the Los Angeles Angels on Monday. Hernandez joined the Braves in spring training and had spent the early part of the season pitching for Triple-A Gwinnett. The Braves will receive a player to be named later or cash from the Angels.

Hernandez appeared in seven games for Gwinnett and allowed four hits and one earned run over eight innings of work.
