Atlanta Braves To Reopen At 50 Percent Capacity Later This Month

COBB COUNTY, GA — More Atlanta Braves fans will be welcomed into Truist Park at the Braves' second home game later this month.

Seating capacity is set to expand from 33 percent to 50 percent for the Braves' second home game April 23, the team announced Thursday. The April 23 game kicks off a three-game series versus the Arizona Diamondbacks, followed by a four-game series against the Chicago Cubs from April 26-29.

"After reviewing our seating pods, we feel expanding capacity to 50 [percent] will still allow for our fans to be safely distanced from other seating pods," said Derek Schiller, president and CEO of the Braves, in a statement.
