Atlanta Braves Take Down The New York Mets In Consecutive Games

The Atlanta Braves took down a good baseball team in the New York Mets on Tuesday night. Atlanta won 5-4 and have now improved to 60-91. Some didn’t think the Braves would win 60 games in 2016 so this is an accomplishment. The Mets have now dropped back-to-back games to the Braves as we go for the sweep on Wednesday.

Julio Teheran started on the mound for the Braves and went seven strong innings. He gave up five hits, one run and one walk. Teheran picked up only one strikeouts, but was able to keep the ball low in the strike zone all game to get hitters chasing.
