Mother's Day used to be a sad time for Freddie Freeman.
The Atlanta Braves star, whose mother died when he was a child, said during an interview with ESPN's Buster Olney during "Sunday Night Baseball" that the holiday is now a happy time as he's built his own family.
"I know my mom would be super proud of her daughter-in-law Chelsea and our family and her grandkids. It's definitely a happy time now, Mother's Day, because now we get to love on my stepmom, my wife and all the mothers in the Freeman family.
