When this series of articles began one of the first things I said was that there was not a lot of intrigue entering the Spring in regards to the Braves’ Opening Day roster. There was essentially one rotation spot, a few different options in the bullpen and the final bench spot. However, a rash of injuries has muddied the picture substantially.
As we head into the final full week of spring, other teams will be making roster decisions and a few upgrades could become available and significantly change what the Opening Day roster will look like. For now though, it looks like Atlanta has more questions now than when they actually opened camp.
