Baseball fans received an early Valentine’s Day gift Wednesday as Atlanta Braves pitchers and catchers reported for the first day of spring training in North Port, Florida.
The 2025 season marks the beginning of a new era for the Braves, following the departures of key players like Max Fried, Travis d'Arnaud, Charlie Morton, and A.J. Minter. However, the team is welcoming back National League Cy Young Award winner Chris Sale, who made history in 2024 by claiming the NL Triple Crown for pitchers. Sale led the league in wins, ERA, and strikeouts—becoming the first Braves pitcher to achieve the feat.
