Atlanta Braves News: The Morning Chop, John Schuerholz Stepped Down, Julio Teheran Starts OD, The Tommy Hanson Story

WSB-TV 2

Tomahawk Take Editor’s Note: One of the highest-profiled sports executives, John Schuerholz, is stepping down as President of the Braves. He became the team President in October of 2007 and joined the Braves as General Manager in October 1990. Schuerholz will be inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame in August of 2016. John Schuerholz, a 50-year veteran of baseball front offices, half of it in Atlanta, is stepping aside as president of the Atlanta Braves.
