Tomahawk Take Editor’s Note: The Atlanta Braves were blanketed in game three of the Pittsburgh Pirates series as the Pirates won two out of three games at Turner Field. Pirates starter Gerrit Cole was fantastic on the mound going seven innings giving up six hits, three walks and zero runs. He also struck out seven Braves hitters. The Braves lineup totaled 10 strikeouts in the game as their top five batters had eight of the 10. Cameron Maybin continues to swing a hot bat as he had three more hits for the Braves.
