Atlanta Braves News: Mike Foltynewicz expected to miss next start

Sean Newcomb struck out eight over 5 1/3 while Lane Adams’ fifth inning sacrifice fly was the difference in a 3-2 win for the Braves over the Mets. Newcomb allowed six hits and walked just one while picking up his third win of the season.

Matt Kemp exited Friday’s game in the top of the fifth inning after experiencing tightness in his left hamstring. Kemp has battled hamstring injuries since the opening week of the season including a couple of stints on the disabled list.

Mike Foltynewicz exited Thursday’s start due to a cut on his finger and it will likely force him to miss at least one start.
