With roster expansion underway across the majors, Atlanta made several additions to their roster prior to Friday’s game against the Cubs. Atlanta activated Luke Jackson and Ian Krol from the disabled list and recalled Max Fried and Rio Ruiz from Triple A Gwinnett. The team also selected the contract of catcher Tony Sanchez who was acquired on Thursday from the Angels in exchange for Brandon Phillips.
