Dallas Keuchel turned in a great performance but an ugly effort by the bullpen resulted in a 5-4 loss to the Kansas City Royals Tuesday night at SunTrust Park.
Coming into the season, the Braves were hopeful that Darren O’Day would be able to help solidify the team’s bullpen. However, O’Day experienced forearm stiffness during spring training and doesn’t appear to be close to returning. In fact, O’Day still hasn’t thrown off a mound. Still, the Braves haven’t completely closed the book on a potential return for O’Day but it wouldn’t likely happen before late August or September.
