The Nationals may have clinched the NL East, but wins against Washington are always fun. They’re especially fun when they’re the result of a complete and total victory, which is what the Braves got when they beat the Nats 8-0 on Tuesday. Julio Teheran had one of his best outings of the season, and the Braves offense took full advantage of a bad night from Washington’s pitching staff. This included Freddie Freeman hitting a dinger on his birthday!
It’s mid-September, which means that it’s about time for the 2018 schedule to be released and sure enough, we now have a tentative idea of what to expect for next season’s games.
