The Braves made a couple of minor roster moves over the weekend, as they sent a pair of relievers down to Triple-A Gwinnett. Ian Krol has been outrighted to Gwinnett, which is a capper on what’s been a downer of a 2017 season for lefty reliever. Meanwhile, Armando Rivero spent the entire 2017 season on the disabled list, and David O’Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution basically explained why Rivero stayed on the roster.

Rivero was a Rule 5 Draft pick from the Cubs in December after piling up 105 strikeouts with 35 walks in 67 2/3 innings in Triple-A in 2016, when the Cuban had a 2.
