BRAVES NEWS
The Braves played a dangerous game on Wednesday, allowing the Angels to hang around as the offense sputtered and wasted opportunities for the majority of the game. The lone Atlanta run in this one came on a Matt Kemp leadoff homer in the second, his tenth of the season. Jaime Garcia pitched an excellent game, going seven innings and allowing just an unearned run, which was enough to remove him from the decision. Arodys Vizcaino relieved Garcia and promptly allowed a leadoff homer to Eric Young, Jr. in the eighth, which would prove to be the decisive blow.
