If the Braves play a worse inning all season than they did last night in the bottom of the third inning against the Angels, then something went horribly wrong. I think it’s safe to say that this will be the worst inning that the Braves will play this year — the Angels scored nine runs, but only two of them were earned runs for Bartolo Colon. There were also three separate errors. It was horrific.
If the Braves are going to be sellers by the time the trade deadline rolls around (and unless they get on a big-time hot streak between now and then, it seems like that will probably be the case), then they’ll have some intriguing trade chips at their disposal.
