The good news for the Braves during their 9-4 loss to St. Louis yesterday is that Dansby Swanson was able to start off the game with a leadoff homer. Additionally, Adam Walker picked up where he left off on Wednesday by hitting another home run. The bats were effective, but the pitching wasn’t there. John Danks had another shaky appearance on the mound, and Blaine Boyer also had a rough outing as well.
The Braves are now even closer to turning their dreams of a new spring training home in Sarasota County into a reality.
