Dayton Moore’s name continues to be linked with the Atlanta Braves, but the rumors continue to stay the same when it comes to what it would take for Moore to come back to the Braves. Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe is saying that Dayton Moore would need “complete control” of the baseball operations if he came, which means that John Hart would have to give up his role. So once again, it definitely seems like if Moore comes then Hart will go.
Meanwhile, if John Hart stays and the Braves just choose to fill the GM position, it appears that they could be inclined to take Nationals GM Mike Rizzo’s advice and bring in Doug Harris.
