The Atlanta Braves officially announced the trade of Alberto Callaspo, Juan Jaime, Eric Stults and Ian Thomas for Juan Uribe and Chris Withrow yesterday after hours of speculation. Because the teams were playing each other in a three game series, these players didn’t have to travel far to meet their new teammates.
Uribe is a veteran of the sport, to be factually he’s been in the MLB for 15 years. The 36-year-old has played for five teams now – Colorado Rockies, Chicago White Sox, San Francisco Giants, Los Angles Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves.
