Atlanta Braves Morning Chop: Tickets, Charity, Relief

It was not a good season for the Atlanta Braves, especially for ticket sales.

The Atlanta Braves’ home attendance for the 2015 season was just over 2 million, according to baseball-reference.com.

That’s the lowest number of fans in 25 years.

One reason for low sales was the team’s lackluster performance. The team ended the year with a record of 67-and-95 – its worst since 1990.

[ Ed. note: The Braves ended up 24th in attendance – 20,001,392, or 25,017 per game. This was 170,000 above Philadelphia and 79,000 below Arizona.

Ranking further below were the Chicago White Sox, Oakland, Miami, Cleveland, and Tampa Bay (15,403 per game).
