Rookie Right-hander Ryan Weber recovered from a bad outing last time out to impress last night, but nonetheless joined the Shelby Miller club by taking a hard-luck loss last night in the finale of the Braves season series with the Nationals as the home team fell 3-0.
Weber gave up just one hit of consequence – a solo homer in the second inning to Clint Robinson – and otherwise actually dominated. Five total hits over seven innings, ten strikeouts and zero walks while technically out-pitching Washington starter Stephen Strasburg.
