Ozzie Albies has been a different man since returning from the DL three games ago, putting up three straight multi hit games and going 7-for-14 with two doubles, two triples, and two stolen bases. Or perhaps instead of looking like a different man, he’s looked like the Albies of last year who was absolutely dominant the second half of the season. With Albies humming along so goes Gwinnett who have won all three games since his return to the field.
With that said Kyle Kubitza got Gwinnett off to a great start with a two run homerun in the second inning, it was Kyle’s second homer of the season.
