The Gwinnett offense continued to do its thing in their 9-1 drubbing of a good Charlotte Knights team. Alex Jackson got the fun started for Gwinnett with a three run homer in the bottom of the fourth inning - his eighth of the season. Jackson has bounce backed nicely after an extremely tough stint in Atlanta as he now has an .854 OPS on the season in Triple-A and put the Gwinnett offense up 3-0. Charlotte got one run back in the top half of the inning after a solo homer by D.J. Peterson, but the Gwinnett offense answered right back in the bottom half after an Adam Duvall single scored two runs and pushed the lead back up to 5-1 for Gwinnett.
