Gwinnett hit the ground running offensively, taking an early lead off of Ozzie Albies triple and Jace Peterson’s RBI double. 2 innings later Gwinnett added a couple of runs, starting with a triple hit by Lane Adams off of the top of the wall. Dustin Peterson followed him with a sharp double down the line, just sneaking it past the shallow-playing third baseman for his 4th double of the season.
