Adam Duvall’s late home run put the Stripers on top and propelled them to an 8-4 win over Norfolk. Gwinnett jumped out to the early lead in the top of the first with Rafael Ortega’s double doing the damage and bringing in two runs. Gwinnett added a run in the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly from Jonathan Morales, but their lead did not hold long as the Tides turned in the fifth and tied things up. Gwinnett had one big blow left in the top of the seventh, with Adam Duvall crushing his 21st home run following a double from Pedro Florimon and a walk to Travis Demeritte.
