Some poor defensive play and less than good bullpen performances allowed Jackson to steal a win away from the Braves in the top of the 9th by the final score of 8-7. Luiz Gohara got the start in this one and had trouble finding the strike zone with both his fastball and his slider. Some of this was some close calls not going his way, but a big chunk of it was his inability to hit the outside corner with any amount of consistency. While he was his usual unhittable self, the walks ran his pitch count up in a hurry and he was done by the end of the 4th inning.
