The Stripers wasted no time jumping out to a lead, with a home run from Ryan LaMarre leading off the night for them. After a single from Sean Kazmar, Ryan Ortega crushed his 21st home run of the season and three batters in Gwinnett was on top 3-0. They added another run on a Pedro Florimon single, before the inning finally came to an end on a fly out from JR Murphy.
