Charlotte broke out in the fifth inning against Aaron Blair and ran away with the game late as the Braves went down by the score of 12-5. In fairness to Blair, his overall line is much worse than he actually was in the game as a soft infield single to short with two outs extended the inning which may have been converted into an out with some better defenders and he would have emerged unscathed. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen and not only did Blair get saddled with six runs, but the home plate umpire ejected him from the game.
