Kris Medlen put together another strong start and Ronald Acuna did work at the top of the lineup in the wake of Ozzie Albies’ promotion, but it was not quite enough as the Braves fell 3-2. Kris Medlen’s rehab has been a bit of a mixed bag, but this start was largely a good one after he was shelled in his previous outing. More impressive than the strikeouts is the fact that this was his second outing in his last four where he went seven innings or more. Those who are banking on Medlen being the same pitcher he was during his first stint with the Braves are likely to be disappointed, but Medlen is definitely showing that he may still have a little bit left in the tank.
