Gwinnett had a huge outburst of offense in the seventh inning, just before a huge outburst of rain halted the game and gave them a win. The Stripers sent the minimum to the plate through the first three innings, then in the fourth they had a small spark of life. Drew Waters led off with his second walk of the game, and after a ball hit Ryan LaMarre they found themselves with a couple of runners on and no outs. Johan Camargo struck out swinging, but a Pedro Florimon infield hit loaded the bases.
