Atlanta Braves Minor League Recap: Gohara twirls gem, Cumberland extends on-base streak.

Patrick Weigel out dueled a rehabbing James Shield which helped lead Gwinnett to a win over the Knights. Weigel needed 105 pitches to get through six innings while putting a game score of 67. The lone run Weigel gave up came in the second when he gave up a lead off walk to Cody Asche and then a triple, to allow Charlotte to go up 1-0. He went the rest of the way giving up just one double, and one walk before exiting for Caleb Dirks who then pitched three one hit innings, striking out three.

Offensively Gwinnett tied the game up in the third inning when Emerson Landoni grounded into a double play, allowing Kyle Kubitza to score from third.
