Gwinnett swept their doubleheader via the combination of some excellent pitching from Luiz Gohara and Manny Barreda and some good offensive performances as the Braves won by the scores of 6-3 and 7-4. Luiz Gohara was fantastic for Gwinnett as he used his high octane fastball and wipeout slider to full effect during the course of the game. His fastball was reaching the upper 90’s even towards the end of his start and he was seemingly getting swings and misses at will with the notable exception of a 2-run homer in the second inning that accounted for the bulk of the damage done to Gohara.
