The Braves used an onslaught of offense to overcome some early runs by the Barons. With the Braves trailing by two runs Drew Waters singled in the third inning and then Tyler Neslony drove him in with a two run home run that tied the game. In the seventh inning Ender Inciarte singled with two outs to start a rally, then consecutive hits from Waters, Neslony, and Ryan Casteel brought in three more runs and put Mississippi up 6-3. The Braves added some 8th inning insurance thanks to Riley Unroe who singled, stole second base, and then scored on a couple of ground outs.
