Mississippi split a doubleheader with Biloxi by the scores of 4-7 and 3-0 thanks to a rough start from Ricardo Sanchez and a strong one from Wes Parsons. Ricardo did not look good in the first game of the doubleheader as he was missing his spots, leaving the ball up in the zone, and Biloxi was all over him. Sanchez only managed to make it two innings before getting pulled after giving up five runs on seven hits and a walk while not striking out a single batter. Wes Parsons, on the other hand, was quite good in the second game of the twin bill as he pitched four scoreless innings and gave up just three hits and a walk and threw just 50 pitches to get there.
