Atlanta Braves Minor League Recap: Anderson’s scoreless streak continues, Peterson goes deep

Mel Rojas Jr. and the pitching staff basically took matters in to their own hands as Gwinnett won 4-0. While he had trouble finding the strike zone, Ellis didn’t allow much in the way of hard contact and limited the damage. He has had 10 starts at AAA with 6 good ones and 4 not so good ones. Hopefully he can find some more consistency. On offense, Mel Rojas Jr. was a one-man wrecking crew and finished a double shy of hitting for a cycle while driving in 3 of Gwinnett’s 4 runs.

The only other multi-hit game for Gwinnett came from Emilio Bonifacio while Blake Lalli and Rio Ruiz recorded the only other extra-base hits for Gwinnett (both doubles).
