Gwinnett poured on runs to take a win over the Knights and even up the series. They jumped on the board in the first inning with a home run off the bat of Adam Duvall, his 27th of the season to put him in second place in all of minor league baseball. The added another homer from Rafael Ortega in the second inning and had quickly jumped on a 2-0 lead. The teams traded some runs until the sixth inning, and the Stripers came to bat up 3-2. A single and a walk put two runners on base and Sean Kazmar extended the lead with an RBI double.
