The Gwinnett offense was doing work against Durham, but the bullpen faltered late in the game and allowed Durham to steal a 9-7 win. Aaron Blair was largely effective in this game until later in the game, although some of that was beyond his control. He left in the 7th inning with the bases loaded and yielded to Akeel Morris who has been largely great for Gwinnett. Unfortunately, all three of those inherited runners came around to score which marred Blair’s overall line. That said, it was pretty clear that Blair was done by that point and loading the bases is generally a recipe for trouble.
