Kyle Muller had a strong debut in Double-A as the Braves thumped Chattanooga by the score of 9-4. After surprisingly getting the bump to Double-A earlier in the day, Muller pitched into the sixth inning and gave up just a pair of earned runs (one of those was an inherited runner that was allowed to score) while striking out four batters. He was reportedly hitting 94-96 with his fastball which is really good news for those who continued to believe is him through his struggles last season. Thomas Burrows gave up a pair of earned runs of his own in addition to letting an inherited runner to score, but Josh Graham and Corbin Clouse both threw scoreless innings of relief to secure the win.
