Kyle Wright flirted with a no-hitter again as Gwinnett shut out Louisville by the score of 6-0. Wright was outstanding again for the Stripers as he threw seven shutout innings and the only hit he allowed was on weak contact. Two of his first three starts in Triple-A have been of the dominant sort as he seems to be finding another gear in Gwinnett. Chase Whitley and Adam McCreery closed the game out for Gwinnett with a pair of scoreless innings to secure the shutout.
Austin Riley continues his up and down trends of late as he had a rough game in going 0-4 with four strikeouts.
