It was a tough night for Gwinnett as they fell to the Chiefs by the score of 8-1. Austin Riley continued his good work of late as he reached base twice. He has eight hits in his last three games and is batting .325 over his last 10 games. Old friend Lane Adams had a pair of hits but outside of Adams and Riley, the rest of the Gwinnett lineup combined for just three hits. Dustin Peterson had a double in the game to extend his hitting streak to eight games. He has looked much better at the plate of late and could be an interesting September call-up to keep an eye on especially for a Braves team in need of reliable bench bats.
