Kolby Allard threw seven strong innings as Gwinnett took down Indianapolis by the score of 4-3. Kolby didn’t rack up the strikeouts, but was efficient (90 pitches in seven innings of work) and worked out of jams well. Rex Brothers came out of the bullpen and did his absolute best to throw the game away as he gave up two runs without recording an out, but Andres Santiago and Jacob Webb came in and restored order with a pair of scoreless innings of relief to secure the win.
After a brief hiatus, Michael Reed is back in Gwinnett and still hitting well as he had two more hits and a stolen base in this game.
