Lucas Sims had a strong start on the mound and the Stripers put up a late run to take a one run win over the Tides. The Stripers got the first runs of the day starting in the third inning when a sacrifice fly off of the bat of Michael Reed scored Sean Kazmar. Gwinnett added 2 more in the fourth inning thanks to 3 consecutive hits to start the inning, extending the early lead to 3-0.
