Atlanta Braves Minor League Recap 6/22: Acuña returns and three shutouts

Friday’s big news was the return of Ronald Acuña Jr. for a rehab game, but the real story was a great night of pitching. Florida, Rome, and Gwinnett all had shutouts thanks to big games from Huascar Ynoa, Wes Parsons, and Kyle Muller. Acuña went hitless in his two at bats before coming out after a rain delay, while Cristian Pache hit another home run and Drew Waters just keeps destroying the Sally League.

Gwinnett Stripers 5, Columbus Clippers 1- 7 innings

This was Ronald Acuña Jr.’s first game back in the first game of a double header and he grounded out to third along with a sharp fly out to center before coming out at the rain delay after three innings.
