Mike Folty gets battered by Red Sox in first game back with Gwinnett. Rome blows early 4-0 lead in 10 innings.
Mike Folty did not have the return he expected. Sadly he gave up two early runs in the first inning that came by means of a two run homer. Gwinnett eventually retaliated in the bottom of the second with a Christian Bethancourt solo lead off homer and a Eric Young Jr. single to right. The Red Sox then broke the tie in the next half inning by lighting Folty up for five runs. The dagger was a Carlos Peguero grand slam that came in the inning.
