Touki struggled for the first time in a bit on the mound and the offense failed to get anything going as the Braves fell to Jackson 5-0. There isn’t much to say about the Mississippi offense beyond that they only managed to record three hits in the game. Alex Jackson has really struggled at the plate this season as his average has been below .200 for some time now and has seemingly had trouble recognizing pitches causing some pretty ugly swings. Travis Demeritte didn’t record a hit, but did draw two walks. While the contact rates have not always been there for Travis, he has always been able to maintain a pretty healthy OBP due to working deep counts.
