Lucas Sims gave up one extra-base hit - it was a solo homerun by Patrick Leonard in the seventh inning with two outs. That was really the only significant hit given up by Lucas Sims as the righty kept Charlotte off balanced all night in this fantastic game. Whenever runners got on base he almost immediately retaliated by inducing a ground ball, or inducing soft contact to get out of the inning unscathed.
