Spring Training is well underway and the Atlanta Braves are a very interesting team in advance of the 2017 MLB season. Handicapping markets are equally intrigued by Freddie Freeman and company, with a 71.5-win projection quickly giving way to a (much more reasonable) 74.5-win number in the most recent Las Vegas release from the Westgate SuperBook.
Now, the good folks at Bovada have released their NL East and NL Pennant odds and the Braves are, predictably, seen as a longshot in both cases. Atlanta comes in at 16-to-1 to claim division glory, with the Washington Nationals (5-to-7) and New York Mets (8-to-5) sitting atop the heap as favorites.
